Thank you, Western Association, for awarding Hope UCC the Leonhart Grant! We are excited about using these funds to make our pray ground and classrooms more affirming and inclusive spaces for families & children with autism spectrum disorder.
In February Hope UCC applied to the Illinois Conference to be part of the Thriving Pastors in Revitalizing Congregations Program (TPiRC). We just received word we have been accepted!!! This 5 year program provides our congregation with many resources that will help us strengthen, strategize and faithfully live into our mission as a community of faith. Our TPiRC committee is led by Pastor Santina and includes Kathleen LeMaster, Carole Keenan, Bob Tallitsch, Grady Birdsell and Dan Hawotte. We are excited to enter this process with our Illinois Conference!
The United Church of Christ has a vision of a just world for all. In this world all are welcomed, everyone is loved and justice is inherent. 3 Great Loves is our denomination’s opportunity to live out our Love of God and vision of a just world for all and express how our Love of Neighbor, Love of Children, and Love of Creation work together to address the inequities in our current world.
Notice of special congregational meeting to be held on Sunday, August 4th. The items to be considered at that meeting will be the following:
· Revision of Hope UCC’s constitution and Bylaws
· Information about the current financial status of the congregation

Hope United Church of Christ is a different kind of church,
We welcome all people,
No matter who you are,
Or where you are on life's journey,
You're welcome here.
Hope United Church of Christ is a congregation of people
Who believe that Jesus Christ is our Savior,
and as each member brings a unique, personal,
and individual understanding of what faith means,
it is our responsibility as the Body of Christ,
the Church, to be in harmony with
Christ’s teaching of love for our neighbor.
