Worship & Meeting Alternatives throughout April
While our in person worship services are suspended, please join us on Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m. for our live streamed services. Pastor Santina is following the stay at home order for our state and streaming the service from her home. While it is not our typical worship service, we hope you will find spiritual renewal and significance in the experience. If you cannot join us live, the videos are available on Hope UCC’s new You Tube channel. Please like our church Facebook page and also subscribe to our You Tube channel for notifications:

Devotional, informational, and worship materials will be sent out each week during the suspension of in person worship both via email and paper based material through the US Mail. Please let Pam know if you prefer email or paper based material – or both. Please call and leave a voicemail at the office or email: 309-762-1419 or office.hopeuccqc@gmail.com

We will use Zoom Meeting for our Bible studies, meetings, and contemplative services. This is a free application you can download on your laptop, desktop, tablet, and/or smartphone. This technology uses your camera so that participants can see each other as we meet, or you can simply dial in using audio only. Once you have the application on your device, you can simply click on the link in the invitation that is emailed, posted on our church Facebook page, and/or posted on our church website. It takes a little practice, but it is surprisingly easy to use. Please go to Zoom.com to download the application and set up your free account.

Life through Our Lens: A Youth Group Fundraiser - May 2, 2020

Hope UCC’s Youth Group invites you to enjoy their artwork and photography at a special event to help raise funds for their trip to the UCC’s National Youth Event, which will include a service component, this summer. Hope’s Fellowship Hall will transform into an art gallery featuring the art and photography of our multi-talented youth group as well as appetizers, beverages, music, and fellowship. Your free will donation is welcome and you will also have the opportunity to purchase any of the photos and greeting cards created by the youth, as well as opportunity raffle items, and a silent auction of ‘experiences’ to bid on. Please invite your friends to this fun evening in support of our youth.

A great party needs great volunteers! We are grateful for help with food preparation, set up, and donations of food and beverages. If you would like to help with this event, please contact Pastor Santina.

If you would like to donate a party, experience, or service for the silent auction or an item for the raffle, or have any questions about ideas you have, please contact Pastor Santina in the church office. There will also be donation forms available on the church website and in the church office. Get creative and have fun thinking up ways to get people together and raise money for this great cause!

Thank you for your support of our youth group!
